A vision for the future or a direction right now?
When we elected two new elders last April, we quickly moved into a visioning process of with the session of Trinity. Visioning takes time and energy. It is not something to be rushed, and there are not usually easy answers, and often there is an incompleteness that lingers. If it is any comfort, the Biblical witness is kind of like that too. God always has a new work on the go,... Read More
Becoming and Being Followers of Christ… Together
This pdf is a snapshot of the life of Trinity Presbyterian Church. It gives a sense of what we are currently up to as a congregation. It also gives an overview of areas in the life of the congregation where you may want to participate. But that is not really the main point of this document. The main point is prayer. We would like you to look over the list and pray for the various... Read More
Election of 2 New Elders
The session of Trinity believes that it is time to add 2 additional elders to our number. We believe that the session needs to be expanded to include some new voices to help discern the direction of God’s Spirit. As the Church continues to grow, these two elders will help to meet the leadership needs of the congregation into the future. If you are a member of Trinity, you can... Read More
The Building, Vision, and Waiting on the Lord
The session believes that we need to spend the next 4 months in prayer about the direction God is leading us with respect to our future Church building. We spent a lot of time last year coming up wonderful plans for a future facility for our congregation. That was time very well spent. The session believes that now having those plans in hand allows us all to visualize what we mean... Read More
Concept Drawings for Future Facility
Trinity now has concept drawings for the future Church building. There will be more to come on this, but for now, here is a couple of pdf and jpg files with floorplans, and some 3d models. Please keep in mind, these are just concept drawings. In the next few weeks or months, we hope to build a new section of the website dedicated to the future building plans, but for now –... Read More
Futures Fund
At our congregational meeting on March 14, we voted to create a “futures fund.” As you may know, Trinity receives a sizeable grant from the Presbyterian Church in Canada each year to go towards our operating budget. In 2012, that grant will run out. Our goal is to have $70,000 in a “futures fund” to help soften the blow when we don’t have a grant... Read More
Excitment about Building Project
This past Sunday, March 14, the congregation saw initial concept drawings from our architects for a future Church Building. Needless to say, the response was very enthusiastic. There are certainly some major financial challenges to face and overcome as a smaller congregation to build this facility, but we believe that it will have a significant impact for the kingdom of God in... Pre-Design of Church Building
We don’t have drawings yet. What we do have is an awesome architect in Number 10 Architectural Group, an amazing building committee and an enthusiastic congregation. We also have some agreement on Guiding Principles for the design phase, and a preliminary overview of spaces. This past Saturday, Feb 13, we had a “town hall” meeting for the congregation of Trinity... Read More

Slowly, but sure, we are getting these online for you. If you need to know more about six+one, you can read it here. Or watch the opening video here. In the new year, I am hoping to have a couple of videos what six+one is not: not a Church growth strategy not an evangelism program Anyway – here is this month’s video about making time… Read More
